Title:Life Extension and Rejuvenation - A Century of Failure
Dedicated life extension and rejuvenation research in the western scientific tradition has been ongoing for over a century and has intensified in recent decades. Currently, hundreds of billions of dollars (USD) in public and private funding are dedicated to general aging research, age-related diseases, and biological rejuvenation. In spite of decades of research and thousands of new products and therapies, there is no clinically-proven commercially-available method of rejuvenating the human body to any significant degree, nor is there anything expected in the near future. Without a concrete theory of aging, it is unlikely there will be many advances in the field for some time to come.
